Welcome to the Frontier Extension District #11,      K-State Research and Extension website

Extension programs present useful information related to agriculture, lawn and garden, youth development, family life, foods and nutrition, healthy living, community development, and much more.  We serve the people of Osage and Franklin Counties, with offices in Lyndon and Ottawa.  Our philosophy is to help people help themselves by taking university knowledge to where people live, work, play, develop, and lead.  We work at being responsive to the needs of the people by focusing our resources on providing quality information, education and problem-solving programs for real concerns.  The information we provide is researched based and unbiased.

Our Mission
"We are dedicated to a safe, sustainable, competitive food and fiber system and to strong, healthy communities, families and youth through integrated research, analysis and education."
